Dr. Naren GuptaDr. Naren Gupta, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Nexus India Capital: Prior to Nexus, Naren Co-founded Integrated Systems Inc (ISI), a leading embedded Software Company in 1980 and took it public in 1990. He served as ISI’s President/CEO till 1994 and as its Chairman till ISI merged with WindRiver Systems in 2000. He subsequently served as CEO and Vice-Chairman of Wind River Systems. Naren has been an active investor for the last ten years. Among his investments, several companies had successful public exits, including Digital Link, E-Tek Dynamics, Numerical Technology and RightNow. Exits through acquisitions include Speedera Networks. Mohanjit JollyMohanjit Jolly is the Executive Director of DFJ India. Mohanjit relocated to India in September, 2007 to establish the DFJ India office and help manage DFJ's India portfolio. Mohanjit currently serves on the Boards of Reva, mChek, Canvera, Cleartrip, Attero, Seventymm, and Naseeb Networks. Mohanjit Jolly has spent the last ten years working with and investing in technology startups. Prior to DFJ, Mohanjit was Managing Director at Garage Technology Ventures, a seed and early stage venture capital firm. While at Garage, Mohanjit worked with over 30 companies, including LeftHand Networks, PureSight (BCGI), Jibe Networks (CTRX), Qumu, Thermoceramix, Kaboodle (Acq: Hearst Media) and SimplyHired. Prior to joining Garage, Mohanjit was part of the strategic planning group at Mattel where he helped launch the Mattel/Intel joint venture, Intel Play. He also spent several years in both engineering and business development roles with Itek Optical Systems, a manufacturer of high-resolution reconnaissance systems for both military and commercial use. While earning his M.B.A from the Anderson School at UCLA, Mohanjit helped launch ViaSpace, a technology incubator in Southern California in conjunction with Caltech and Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Mohanjit earned a B.S. and M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, with a specialization in electric propulsion systems. Dr. Syed ZaidiDr. Syed A R Zaidi, after teaching philosophy at universities in America and India, retired from Delhi University a few years ago. He was an investor in the secondary market for over two decades, mainly in pharma and information technology companies, and is the primary angel investor in A.Little.World, the precursor of mChek. Mr. Gajendra NagpalMr. Gajendra Nagpal is the Founder & CEO of Unicon India, a leading Investment Solutions company in India. A management graduate by qualification, Mr. Nagpal brings with him over 16 years of experience in the stock market. Before joining Unicon in 2004 he has served at senior positions for 5 years with Kotak securities at a regional level and Indiabulls securities for 4 years at national level assignments. Mr. Nagpal brings with him the rich experience of building a retail broking network. He is a familiar face on the electronic media and is well respected in the broking industry for his stock market expertise. |
